Beyond the Mask

Charcoal on canvas – 30″W x 40″H

A fragile skin of silence cannot hold forever. The mask fractures, stitches strain, and the truth seeps through the cracks. An unblinking eye awaits in the dark – witness, prisoner, confessor. What hides here is not weakness but survival itself, scarred and unrelenting. To look into it is to feel the weight of everything we bury, and the terror of what happens when it can no longer stay hidden.
